New website launched for Warwickshire couples looking to marry

THOSE looking to get married need look no further than a brand new website launched by Warwickshire County Council full of useful information.

‘Ceremonies in Warwickshire’ has been devised by the WCC Registration Service and covers all the different types of ceremonies on offer across the county – from weddings and civil partnerships to renewals of vows and christening ceremonies.

The website has lots of useful information to help people plan for one of these special occasions, including all the important details about the legal preliminaries of a marriage and civil partnership.

There is a new Venues Directory to showcase Warwickshire Registry Office ceremonial halls and licensed venues, from grand castles, mansions and country houses to hotels, museums and theatres.

There is also contact information available for the Warwickshire Registration Service, an experienced team able to help clients plan their ceremony. For example, they can issue documents where appropriate for people getting married overseas, or when a ceremony is to take place in a religious building, Church of England or Church of Wales.

The team also helps couples understand the notification process, including legalities or documentation, and is transparent about booking fees for each type of ceremony and location to help clients choose the perfect setting for their special occasion.

Councilor Andy Jenns, WCC’s Customer and Transformation Spokesperson, said: “I am delighted to see this new website come to life, which will greatly help people in Warwickshire and beyond to plan and enjoy. successful special moments of life across the county.

“The county council registration service is made up of a wonderfully welcoming and inclusive team who provide exceptional personal service. For anyone who submits an application through the new Ceremonies in Warwickshire website, the team will go above and beyond to provide ceremony experiences across the county that people can cherish forever.
